Dear Contributor,
Thank you for your interest in Black Mouse's online shop.
We have launched a new e-commerce online shop from this craft site. We specialise in greetings cards and wedding stationery and to complement our range we are looking for UK crafters who create handmade, quality, lightweight small gifts who might like to sell their merchandise in our new shop.
Our clients tend to be
ABC1 and interested in quality, design and originality. They usually have
a good idea of what they want and appreciate quality designer goods.
Please note - at present we are not looking for other
peoples cards, only small gift items, although we may change this in the future.
We know there are a lot
of talented UK crafters out there. (sorry - this
is restricted to crafters in the United Kingdom at present)
Perhaps you don't have your own site, don't make a wide enough range to sell
elsewhere, want to test a product or just want to extend availability.
The items you make must be small, lightweight, genuinely
handmade and of good quality - basically they need to be postable!
The site currently gets around 350,000+ hits and 15000+ unique visitors a
month, and with the launch of the shop these figures are increasing. We will
continue to promote the shop across the internet and we will take care of
all online orders, secure online payments and delivery to the customer.
If you decide you no longer
want the items in the shop, you can withdraw them at any time
(please allow 10 working days for stock to be despatched to you and removed
from the site)
Any outstanding set-up fees for that item must be paid prior to despatch if
they have been in the shop for less than 2 months.
If you have any queries or want to arrange for your product(s) to be included
after the launch please contact us at shopgift@blackmouse.co.uk
for a copy of the contributor agreement.
NEW - We are now offering contributors their own shop page just for their product range. Contact us to discuss.
Black
Mouse reserves the right to refuse products which are deemed unsuitable for
the needs of the online shop at the present time.
This in no way implies that any refused products are below standard,
it's just that we have a tight brief!
